Please note: Children under the age of 10 need a caregiver to remain in the library for the duration of the program.
Please Note:
We are changing how registration works to include more in our programs! We have divided our programming into three: Jan-April: Winter/spring, May-Aug: Summer, Sept-Dec: Fall.
All registered programs will get a fresh sign-up, each season.
What does this mean for you?
Starting this Fall, you must sign up each season to attend. If you do not catch a spot before it's filled, you can try again next season, If you get in and would like to continue next season, you must sign up again when that season opens!
This is a first come, first served set up. Mark the dates on your calendar so you don't miss out!
Important Dates:
August 5 at Noon: all fall registration opens
December 1 at Noon: all winter/spring registration opens
April 7 at Noon: all summer registration opens

Summer Season
North Perth Public Library
A fun filled program featuring songs, stories, and creative playtime! With North Perth EarlyON and North Perth Public Library.
Listowel Library Branch
Drop by to join in on the fun!
Draw an outline of a colouring page, bookmark and/or a button template for the North Perth Public Library and get volunteer hours!
Receive 8 volunteer hrs for one full outline of a colouring page, 4 hrs for a bookmark outline, 2 hrs for a button outline. Please use libraries, community, and/or exploration/adventure as the theme(s) for your creation.
Must be completed outside of school hours and have already graduated grade 8.
Colouring page must be 8.5x11 inches
Bookmark must be 2x6 inches
Button must be roughly 1.5x1.5 inches
Submissions can be dropped off in person at any North Perth Public Library branch, or digitally using this link.
Please note: NPPL staff may use their discretion if adequate standards are not met in entries submitted.

July 2: Janny Pape from the Fire Department
-We are launching something new with Janny! Come for exciting, first access to this and chat about all things fire department, women empowerment, and North Perth!
July 9: Jonas from the Exclusive Music Academy, with other musicians
Come to listen to Jonas and his crew play songs for us using a variety of instruments. If you're feeling it, come dance!
July 16: Listowel School of Dance
-Speaking of dance, join for this interactive session filled with movement, dancing and games. So much fun!
July 23: Capitol Twin Movie Theatre
-We are crafting with our friend from the Listowel Movie theatre, using old movie film strips. Crafts don't get any better than this! While supplies last.
July 30: OPP
-Did you hear?! Get a tour in the cruiser!!! Come to hear and see the behind the scenes of being a police officer!
August 6: Wild Ontario
-HELD AT STEVE KERR! TICKETS REQUIRED. TICKETS AVAILABLE STARTING JULY 7
-Hawks, eagles, owls... you name it, they're coming! Get your free tickets to this interactive program before it's too late.
August 13: A lifeguard from the Listowel Kinsmen pool
-Water safety made fun! Join us to chat about safety, and activities related to swimming!
You’ll never know what we are getting up to until you come see for yourself! Crafts, lego, tech toys, scavenger hunts are all on the table and each week it will be something new and exciting!. (ages 5+)

Are you creative? Want a challenge? Join us in a fun initiative to create something unique from a mystery goodie bag, bring it back to be displayed, and enter to win an arts supply prize pack!
