Library Cards
North Perth Public Library
Through the Perth County Information Network (PCIN), we serve all residents of Perth County and all those residing within the geographic area of the Municipality of North Perth.
A FREE library card will be issued to:
- Tax payers of the Municipality of North Perth;
- Employees of North Perth businesses;
- Students at North Perth schools; and
- Residents within municipalities with which the Library has "reciprocal borrowing" agreements (see below).
Your library card is a permanent card and needs renewed every 2 years.
You can apply for a card online or you can come in to any NPPL branch. Please bring identification and/or a piece of mail with your name on it to apply. Children age 12 and under are required to have a parent/guardian apply and sign for their membership.

Visit the library's basic catalogue.
1. Click on New User
2. Fill in the form.
3. Click on I Accept.
Library staff will contact you within 2 business days to provide you with a formal library card number.
With this new library card number you can access online resources including eBooks and Audiobooks. Your library card will be mailed to you. Your card will expire in 90 days. At that time, you will need to come to the library to show identification and confirm the information on your account.
Your card must be renewed every 2 years. Renew by visiting or calling your library branch.
Log into your online library account and click on “My Settings” in the top right corner to see when your library card expires.
Residents of Perth County, Huron County, Oxford County, Wellington County, Middlesex County, and the Region of Waterloo have free access to the North Perth Public Library. Just bring your identification to your library branch.
