Teen & Tween Programs

For ages 9-17

Please note: Children under the age of 10 need a caregiver to remain in the library for the duration of the program.

Please Note:

We are changing how registration works to include more in our programs! We have divided our programming into three: Jan-April: Winter/spring, May-Aug: Summer, Sept-Dec: Fall.

All registered programs will get a fresh sign-up, each season.

What does this mean for you?

Starting this Fall, you must sign up each season to attend. If you do not catch a spot before it's filled, you can try again next season, If you get in and would like to continue next season, you must sign up again when that season opens!

This is a first come, first served set up. Mark the dates on your calendar so you don't miss out!

Important Dates:

August 5 at Noon: all fall registration opens

December 1 at Noon: all winter/spring registration opens

April 7 at Noon: all summer registration opens

Summer Season

North Perth Public Library

Draw for Volunteer Hours

Draw an outline of a colouring page, bookmark and/or a button template for the North Perth Public Library and get volunteer hours!

Receive 8 volunteer hrs for one full outline of a colouring page, 4 hrs for a bookmark outline, 2 hrs for a button outline. Please use libraries, community, and/or exploration/adventure as the theme(s) for your creation.

Must be completed outside of school hours and have already graduated grade 8.

Colouring page must be 8.5x11 inches

Bookmark must be 2x6 inches

Button must be roughly 1.5x1.5 inches

Submissions can be dropped off in person at any North Perth Public Library branch, or digitally using this link.

Please note: NPPL staff may use their discretion if adequate standards are not met in entries submitted.

Mystery Makers Challenge

Are you creative? Want a challenge? Join us in a fun initiative to create something unique from a mystery goodie bag, bring it back to be displayed, and enter to win an arts supply prize pack!
